PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Hastelloy C276 alloy is mainly to solve the intergranular corrosion of grade C, reduce the carbon and silicon in the alloy to a very low amount, avoid the intergranular continuous grain boundary precipitation phase in the welding heat affected zone, and make the alloy free of intergranular corrosion in the welding state. But the thermal stability of the alloy is not good. Hastelloy C-276 alloy is one of the few materials that can be applied to hot concentrated H2SO4 solution.

Application area:
This alloy is mainly used for equipment and components dealing with strong media, such as wet chlorine, oxidizing chloride, chloride salts and various organic acids and halogen gases. Alloy equipment has been successfully applied to wet process phosphoric acid, HF acid production and flue gas desulfurization unit. If it is required that there is no risk of intergranular corrosion after welding, this alloy is appropriate.
