Incoloy 825 is a titanium stabilized all austenitic nickel iron chromium alloy with copper and molybdenum added. Incoloy 825 is a general engineering alloy with acid and alkali corrosion resistance in both oxidation and reduction environments. High nickel content makes the alloy have effective stress corrosion cracking resistance. It has good corrosion resistance in various media, such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and organic acid, and alkali metals such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid solution.

Features of Incoloy 825:

● good stress corrosion cracking resistance.

● good resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion

● good oxidation resistance and non oxidizing hot acid properties

● good mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature up to 550 ℃

● certification of pressure vessels with manufacturing temperature up to 450 ℃


Application fields of Incoloy 825:

It is generally used in chemical processing industry, hot seawater and hydrometallurgy. It is mainly used for heat exchangers, pipelines, valves and water pumps in the environment of heat H2SO4, chloride containing solution and Na2SO3. It is also widely used in the field of wood pulp extractors and deep source gas wells in the paper industry.
